Walker Zanger Translates Tiffany-Style Glass Into New Collection

August 26, 2009 By creatingyourspace 5 Comments

Chelsea Art Glass Tile Employs Hand-Cut Artisan Glass for an Updated Yet Classic Look
Louis Comfort Tiffany is best known for the art-glass renaissance he helped precipitate in 19th century America, and today his last name is synonymous with the museum-quality lamps and windows he created. Walker Zanger has transformed the unmistakable Tiffany look into the colorful Chelsea Art Glass Collection, a symphony of glass tiles that make an artistic statement whether applied in a master bath suite, kitchen, pool or spa.
The epitome of glass craftsmanship, the Chelsea Art Glass Collection offers Tiffany-inspired tiles that are hand-made by pouring marbleized glass into sheets, then cutting them into breathtaking mosaics. The colorful collection retains a warmth and personality that elevates it above more uniform glass tiles.
Two field styles are available for the Chelsea Art Glass Collection. The Artisan Field style is composed of small hand-cut mosaics, evocative of traditional Byzantine tile work. The Rhythm Field style is a striated, linear interpretation that imparts even greater emphasis to the rich color variations of the individual tiles. Both field styles are available in a broad palette of colors, with seven for the Rhythm Field and 11 for the Artisan Field. Colors are artisticallyblended and include such classic and versatile choices as Sand, Crème Brule, and Horn; as well as bold and vibrant options such as French Blue, the aptly-named Tiffany Green, and a lustrous Ultraviolet. The Chelsea Art Glass Collection combines the familiarity of a classic field with modern color choices, making it a perfect fit for both residential and commercial applications.

Maybe, if you changed the floor and walls to a plain white tile, you could afrfod the beautiful cabinet???I think you will not be happy with the room if you have to live with a floor you dislike…..speaking from experience…
