In modern times it is not uncommon for moms to have accounts on Instagram just like their teen-aged children. Rather than using photo albums, they relinquish their memories to the digital world of social networking. This doesn’t pose a serious problem, but it can prevent the unique display of photo moments in your home. Here are our next two tips for overcoming that challenge.
- Tip 3 – Go to the photo section of your Facebook profile and click on the “Albums” tab. Select a couple of photos from each album. Send them to a digital printing service and place an order for a photo book. It will be comprised of highlights in your life, as organized by your Facebook photo albums, which is a unique perspective. Display the book with the cover facing forward on a decorative plate stand so that guests are encouraged to pick it up and peruse it. Pick an impactful cover photo to grab their attention, and place it near a central focus area.
- Tip 4 – It might sound counter intuitive to use photos on your Instagram account when those same photos are already stored on your phone. Why not just use the original files? Because when you work within the platform on your device you are able to access the features that make the posts special. It’s the filter effects and frames that make Instagram so fun, thus making the posts unique and worthy of a special display method in your home.
