A social networking site is a great place to gather images of your life, but it has its limits. Reviewing your feed over the last several months is enjoyable, but photo memories are priceless and leaving them floating out in the digital realm seems like a waste. Here are two more tips on how to use them for home decoration.
- Tip 7 – Find a photo that received lots of great comments. The likes and comments are, after all, what make posting photos fun. If you’re not sure which photo you want to use, because you like several of them, you can decide according to the room in which you intend to display it. For instance, a funny photo with hilarious comments might be great in a family room, kitchen or rec room. A photo of sentimental moment might be better suited to a bedroom or library. Once you’ve decided, download and print the photo. Then screen capture the comments section on your computer and print it as well. Put them next to each other in an easel frame, and display it near a sitting area where people are sure to see it.
- Tip 8 – If you’re a DIY type you might not be a fan of sending your photos out to be printed by a professional printing service. Crafty gals are often more inspired by ways to accomplish things on their own. Instagram photos match with your personality perfectly because they are well suited to printing at home. Generally speaking, Instagram photos are best collected using the screen capture function on your phone (as mentioned in Part 1.) (link) The size of the image is thus small, with low resolution. This makes them perfect for printing on your home printer using standard 4×6 photo paper! From there, you can accomplish all sorts of projects.
