Ann Sacks Designer Collection Tiles

July 28, 2011 By creatingyourspace 2 Comments

Ann Sacks tiles are industry favorites for their design and quality.  Now Ann Sacks has paired up with six influential designers to create the Designer Collections.  Each of the designers brings a unique eye and design sense to the world of tile.

Angela Adams

Angela Adams is known for her distinctive designs and sense of color as a textile, fabric and rug designer. Adams has three tile collections: Forms, Graphics and Concrete, focusing on texture, color and pattern, and concrete floor tiles respectively.

Barbara Barry

Barbara Barry finds beauty in details. Known for her sophisticated and classic design sense, she has designed furnishings and home décor as well as tile. She designed six tile collections, including diamond shaped tiles, grooved and fluted stripes and vintage inspired Star Burst and Frame.

Clodagh

Clodagh is Interior Design Hall of Fame inductee and was chosen as one of Design’s Top 100 Interior Designers in America. She has designed six tile collections.  They are Stripes, Quill, Concrete, Puzzle, Shield and Sticks.

Laura Kirar

Laura Kirar approaches design with the eye of an artist. With the largest collection, Kirar has sixteen patterns in her Impressions collection that is characterized by hand-drawn patterns.

Michael S. Smith

Inspired to design tiles he hasn’t found anywhere else, Michael S. Smith brings his traditional meets modern sensibility to his collections.  His two ceramic tile collections for Ann Saks are Classic and Labyrinth, intricate knot-patterned tiles.

Robert Kuo

Robert Kuo’s two collections include Cloisonné and a carved stone collection using Chinese carving techniques once used on temples. The Cloisonné collection recalls the metal and enamel work of its name known for mixing ancient crafts with modern design.
